Smontaggio
ammortizzatore di sterzo
Svitare e rimuovere la vite (5) di
fissaggio dello stelo ammortizzatore
di sterzo al telaio.
Recuperare il distanziale ( 7 ).
Svitare la vite (4) di fissaggio
ammortizzatore di sterzo alla testa di
sterzo.
Rimuovere l’ammortizzatore di
sterzo recuperando l’anello OR (
2 ),
il distanziale ( 3 ).
Per poter rimuovere il martelletto (8)
è necessario allentare la vite (C)
sulla testa di sterzo.
Rimontaggio
ammortizzatore di sterzo
Inserire nella parte inferiore della
testa di sterzo il martelletto (8)
allineando uno dei due fori filettati (A)
e (B) con quello presente sulla testa di
sterzo.
Note
Il foro (A) più avanzato deve
essere utilizzato per l’inclinazione
cannotto per uso su pista (23°30’).
Montare l’ammortizzatore di sterzo
sulla base di sterzo inserendo sotto di
esso il distanziale (
3 ) con il diametro
maggiore verso il basso e l’OR ( 2 ).
Applicare frenafiletti prescritto sulla
filettatura della vite (4) e bloccarla alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3) sul
martelletto (8).
Bloccare la vite (C) sulla testa di sterzo
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Removing the steering
damper.
Unscrew and remove the screw (5)
securing the steering damper rod to
the frame.
Recover the spacer ( 7 ).
Unscrew the screw (4) securing the
steering damper to the steering head.
Remove the steering damper and
recover the O-ring (
2 ), and spacer ( 3 ).
To remove the steering lock peg (8),
slacken off screw (C) on the steering
head.
Reinstalling the steering
damper
At the base of the steering head,
install the steering lock peg (8) by
aligning one of the two threaded
holes (A) and (B) with the hole in the
steering head itself.
Notes
The frontmost hole (A) should
be used when the steering head has
been set to the track racing steering
angle (23°30’).
Fit the steering damper to the bottom
yoke and fit under it the spacer (
3 ),
with its larger diameter downwards,
and the O-ring (
2 ).
Apply the prescribed threadlocker
to screw (4) and tighten it to the
prescribed torque (Sect. C 3) on the
steering lock peg (8).
Tighten screw (C) on the steering
head to the specified torque
(Sect. C 3).
