Memory Specifications
This section describes the memory specifications of the SIL2 Process CPU. Information not described in this chapter is same
as that of the standard CPU. (

Memory configuration
Specifications of the device/label memory differ from the standard CPU in the memory configuration of the SIL2 Process CPU.
Device/label memory
In addition to standard devices and standard labels, the data such as safety devices and safety labels are allocated to each
data area of the device/label memory.
The safety device area, safety label area, safety local device area, and standard/safety shared label area are allocated
between the standard device area and standard label area. The capacities for each area can be changed in the device/label
memory area setting by using the engineering tool. (

The following table lists the data allocated to each area.
Safety devices and safety labels cannot be latched, and therefore there is no latch area for safety devices and
safety labels.
