7.12 PLC Signal Trace
When the menu key
S.TRACE
is pressed, the "DEVICE SET" screen is displayed. In this screen,
status of various devices to be used for the external signals and user ladders can be traced, and
ladder program can be monitored.
7.12.1 Device Setting Screen
Set the <BITDEVICE> (max. 8 points) and <WORDDEVICE> (max. 2 points) to be traced on the
"DEVICE SET" screen and also set the <MONI SELECT>. Once trace is started, tracing status of the
set device can be monitored in the "DEVICE MONITOR" screen.
Trace can be stopped at the specific conditions by setting the trigger.
Trace is continued until it is stopped manually or by trigger. So, trace is automatically started when the
power is turned OFF and ON during trace execution.
The data set in the DEVICE SET screen and trace data are retained during the power OFF, as well.

(1) Setting the device
Set the bit device name and word device name to be traced.
In order to invalidate the device, set the device name to "0" and press the
INPUT
key.
The maximum number of devices that can be traced is as follows.

9, 10 Word device 2
