(1) Problems related to the power supply
The power does not turn ON.
Cause
Remedy
The external power supply is
faulty.
Check whether the power can be turned ON only with the
external power supply.
Check that the input voltage is within 200 to 230VAC and
that the output voltage is 24VDC
±
5%.
The 24VDC power cable wiring is
incorrect.
Check the cable wiring.
Check that the output voltage is 24VDC
±
5% at the
connector end on the control unit side.
The ON/OFF cable is
short-circuited. (Only when using
PD25 power supply unit.)
Check the cable wiring.
The external power turns ON but the control unit power does not turn ON.
Cause
Remedy
The external power supply output
is not correct.
Check that the output voltage is 24VDC
±
5% at the
connector end on the control unit side.
The 24VDC power supply cable is
disconnected or broken.
Correctly insert the connector in the control unit. Check the
cable wiring.
The cable connected from the
control unit to the peripheral
device is short-circuited.
Disconnect the cables connected to the peripheral device
one at a time, and check that the power turns ON. Check
whether any of the cables are short-circuited.
The control unit is faulty.
Confirm that the control unit's LED "DCOUT" (green) lights
when the cables connected to the peripheral devices are
disconnected. If the "LED 24DCIN" (green) turns ON and
"DCOUT" remains OFF, the internal power supply circuit
may be faulty.
The power turns OFF.
Cause
Remedy
There is a problem in the supply
power.
Check that there is no voltage fluctuation.
Check whether an instantaneous power failure has
occurred.
A problem occurs when the
peripheral device starts operating.
Check whether the voltage drops instantaneously when the
peripheral device operation starts.
