8. IC Card Operation
8.1 IC Data Screen

(i) When no file exists in the file transfer source, the operation error (E313) occurs.
(j) When the data protection key (Y238 to Y23A) is ON, transfer operation is not possible. If attempted,
an error occurs.
(k) Writing is not possible for the program in operation. If attempted, the operation error (E21) occurs.
(l) The screen cannot be changed while transmitting; the message "WRITE:NO SCR.CHG" is
displayed.
(m) When transferring, confirm the size of memory and IC card in the transfer destination.
(n) When the program Nos. in the memory from 9000 to 9999 are to be overwritten by transfer operation
while EDIT LOCK C is valid (base specification parameter#1121 edlk_c=1 or #1122 pglk_c=1, 2),
the operation error (E16) occurs and transferring will not be performed.
(When #1121 or #1122 is set, the power must be turned OFF and ON again.)
(o) When the program Nos. in the memory from 8000 to 9999 are to be overwritten by transfer operation
while EDIT LOCK B is valid (control parameter #8105 edlk_b=1), the operation error (E15) occurs
and transferring will not be performed.
(p) Even when the parameter #1218 bit7 is validated (enabling overwriting input), if the same file name
exists in the transfer destination, the operation error (E314) occurs and overwriting will not be
performed. Input "Y" or "A" to execute overwriting as explained above.
