(4) Drawing tool nose path during trace
Drawing is usually carried out with machine coordinate value, but can be carried out with tool
position coordinate value (current value B), depending on the parameter setting. The counter is
switched according to the coordinate in which drawing is carried out.

Counter value to
be displayed
0
Draw with machine coordinate value. The
machine coordinate value is displayed in the
counter.
Machine
coordinate value
1
Draw with tool position coordinate value. The
tool position coordinate value (current value B)
is displayed in the counter.

coordinate value
(current value B)
(Note)
The tool position coordinate value (current value B) is equivalent to the tool center
coordinate value with the tool compensation amount added, and that indicates the tool nose
point. When the direction of compensation changes during machining, such as during radius
compensation, accurate machining paths will not be drawn.
(5) Switching zero point mark display
The zero point mark
is usually displayed at the machine zero point, but can be displayed at
the workpiece coordinate zero point, depending on the parameter setting. The zero point mark is
displayed in the same way during the check mode, as well.

Contents
0
Display zero point mark at the machine zero point.
1
Display zero point mark at the workpiece coordinate zero point.
