A. Special Features

Intuition XG

12 Squeeze override run with P2 cut ( number )

Executes the squeeze effect identified by

number

(in the range 1–32). Being a cut, there is no

duration. This squeeze uses

both

squeeze images, background and image 2, and thus uses the

overrides of item 8 and item 7.

13 Voice over fade on ( number )

Ramps

up

the audio over specified by number, using the rate and ratio specified in items 16 and

17.
The over number may be in the range 1–4 (normal overs), and may be 17 (squeeze image 2
over) or 18 (XG over). The fade on will use the default rate and ratio if none are specified.

14 Voice over fade off ()

Ramps

down

the audio over specified by number, using the rate and ratio specified in items 16

and 17.
The over number may be in the range 1–4 (normal overs), and may be 17 (squeeze image 2

This command message is the same as item 13 with a parameter value of 18 (XG over).

Sets up an audio over. The

parameter is expressed as a number of frames.

Sets up an audio over. The

ratio

is expressed in units of 0.1 percent, in the range 0–1000.

MCE over ratios are non-linear. The default is a 50% ratio, meaning 100% main source and
100% over source.

18 XPT take ( source )

Selects a main source specified by

source

, in the range 1–128. The command message overrides

the previously selected main source, no matter how it was selected.
The command does not perform router pre-selection. A panel operator may do that prior to exe-
cuting the XG clip.
