Intuition XG
11 Specify the keyer behavior.
The choices are ‘Normal’ and ‘Clear Preset after Program Transitions to On’. See the
NV5100MC MasterConfig User’s Guide for details.
MCS Panel Configuration Editor
(Intuition XG configuration is available only for the CECP, CECP M1, FECP, and CECP GUI.)
Place one or two XG layer buttons on the preset and program buses. The place to do this is the
‘Button Assignment’ page. Use one XG layer button for a single-channel Intuition XG processor.
Use two XG layer buttons for a two-channel processor.

You might have to sacrifice a main source button or two to do so. Or, you can sacrifice the
keyer buttons for the keyers assigned to the Intuition XG layers.

\When XG layer buttons are active, the keyers assigned to the XG layers become inaccessible
for normal use.
Optionally configure one of the customer-definable buttons as an “XG Keyer Control” button. The
button turns off all keyers assigned to XG layers on both program and preset (and can turn off the
XG over). The button acts as an emergency override.
Notes
The Intuition XG’s video reference must be NTSC or tri-level 1080i/59.94, connected to ‘Analog
Ref In’. The reference for the MCE and Intuition XG references must be closely timed (within ± 1/
2 line). Otherwise, you’ll get non-sync errors.
The Intuition XG processor receives information regarding what to play and when to play it from
the MCE over its Ethernet connection.
Operation
During operation, Xplay must be running, channel A must be running, and channel B (if it exists)
must be running. Master control cannot process Intuition keys unless these conditions are met.
Follow these guidelines:
1 Boot the Intuition XG and login. You’ll see the desktop with its Miranda report.
