5. MCEs

Structure

The preview board is required only for preview bus functions. Its backplane module has two 1.0/2.3
DIN connectors:

Preview bus A outputs whatever combination of main sources, video effects an operator selects at a
control panel. The output is video only. Although an operator can apply audio overs, they would
have no effect.

Only the CECP, CECP GUI, and FECP have preview buttons. (The CECP M1 does not.)

Preview bus B is not yet operational. Presently, preview output B simply replicates output A.
