Make sure that the software program is working properly.

For problems that affect one or more of the removable media drives, complete
the following steps:
a.
If there is removable media in the drive, make sure that the following
conditions are met:
v
The removable media is inserted correctly in the drive. If necessary, insert
the end of a straightened paper clip into the manual tray-release opening
to eject the removable media.
v
The media is good and not damaged; the drive LED light flashes once
per second when the disk is inserted.
v
The media contains the necessary files to start the blade server.
v
The software program is working properly.
v
The distance between monitors and drives is at least 76 mm (3 in.).
b.
Reseat the following components.

Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown,

Continue with step 7.

Check for correct management-module operation (see the documentation for
your BladeCenter unit).
Note:
Some BladeCenter unit types have several management-module
components that might have to be tested or replaced (see the
Installation Guide
for your management module for more information).
8.
Replace the management module (see the documentation for your BladeCenter
unit).
If these steps do not solve the problem, it is likely a problem with the blade server.
