Parameters
group-address
: Address of the multicast group to join.
source-address
: Address of the multicast source to join. You can specify a multicast
source address only when IGMPv3 Snooping is running in a VLAN.
vlan vlan-id
: ID of the VLAN to which the port belongs, in the range of 1 to 4094.
Description
Use the
igmp host-join
command to configure the current port as a simulated
multicast group member host to join the specified multicast group or source and group.
Use the
undo igmp host-join
command to remove the current port as a simulated
member host for the specified multicast group or source-group.
Unlike a static member port, a port configured as a simulated member host will age out
like a dynamic member port.
