Description
Use the
priority trust
command to configure the switch to trust the 802.1p priority of a
packet.
Use the
undo priority
command to restore the default settings.
By default, port priority is trusted.
In port priority trusted mode, when receiving an 802.1q tagged packet, the switch
replaces the 802.1p priority of the packet with the port priority, searches for the local
precedence corresponding to the port priority of the receiving port in the 802.1p-to-local
precedence mapping table, and assigns the local precedence to the packet.
You can use the
priority trust
command to configure the switch to trust the 802.1p
precedence of the received packets. In this case, the priority of the receiving port is not
used as the 802.1p precedence.
Example
# Configure the switch to trust the 802.1p precedence of the received packets.
