IOF-550 Permold Series Engine Maintenance Manual

2-2.5.12.2. Engine Control Panel

The optional engine control panel (ECP) has advanced diagnostic features and a multiple
line message display; it is used in lieu of an HSA. ECP engine operations differ from the
HSA. The FADEC Primary and Secondary Power Switches functions are integrated into
the ECP TEST A and TEST B buttons. The Ignition Switch start and off functions are
also incorporated into the ECP. See Chapter 7, Engine Operation for additional
information.

2-2.5.12.3. Engine Data Interface

The optional Engine Data Interface (EDI) is a crew compartment mounted RS-232 data
terminal with storage capability. The EDI has red and green status LEDs on the front
panel. FADEC EDI data is stored on a compact flash memory card inserted on the front
of the EDI and secured with a cover.
