9-7.2. Fuel System Adjustments
Prior to adjusting the fuel system settings, verify the aircraft fuel system is operating in
accordance with the airframe manufacturer's instructions. Complete the “Engine
Operational Check” in Chapter 6. Use the values recorded on the Operational Checklist to
determine necessary adjustments.

WARNING
Make all adjustments with the engine stopped and the Ignition,
Master Power, and Primary/Secondary FADEC Power
Switches in the OFF position.
Procedure
1.
Loosen the lock nut on the low-pressure relief valve assembly located at the rear of
the fuel pump (Figure 9-13).
2.
Turn the relief valve in one of the following directions, depending on desire outcome:
a.
Clockwise to increase fuel pump pressure
b.
Counter-clockwise to decrease fuel pump pressure.
