Procedure
1.
Inspect each fuel line to the connection point at the fuel distribution block for chafing,
wear, or damage. Replace worn, chafed or damaged fuel lines with new fuel lines.
2.
Remove, clean, and inspect the inline (or bypass) fuel filter and fuel distribution
block fuel filter. See sections 7-3.14.1.1 or 7-3.14.1.2 and 7-3.14.2.1 or 7-3.14.2.2.
3.
Inspect the fuel line and fittings from the fuel pump outlet to the fuel distribution
manifold, including the fuel filter for wear or damage. Replace faulty parts.
4.
Visually inspect the fuel lines, fuel injectors, fuel pressure sensors and engine dry bay
for signs of fuel leaks with the aircraft boost pump ON.
5.
Perform an “Engine Operational Check” in Chapter 6, Operational Performance
Checks to verify the fuel system is operating within specified limits.

Clean the fuel distribution block filter (Figure 7-23 or Figure 7-24) during the 100-hour
inspection according to the appropriate engine model instructions.
