Section 08 CHASSIS

Subsection 02 (STEERING SYSTEM)

Remove the circlip securing the bearing into the
knuckle.

V07I0SA

1. Circlip

Using a press machine, push the bearing out of
knuckle.

NOTE:

It may be necessary to heat the knuckle to

remove the bearing.



WARNING

Clean all grease, outside and inside, from
knuckle before heating it.

Wheel Bearing Installation

Place the bearing in a freezer for 10 minutes be-
fore installing.

Place the knuckle in oven to 100°C (212°F) for
30 minutes maximum to ease bearing installation.

When knuckle is cold, install the circlip.

Install a

NEW

seal.

Install the other parts in the reverse order of re-
moval procedure.
