Repair or replace wiring/connections.

STARTER SOLENOID

The starter solenoid is located to the right of the
battery, forward of the voltage regulator/rectifier.

To access the starter solenoid, remove the starter
solenoid cover.

Power Signal to Solenoid Coil Test

Set transmission to Park, or Neutral.

Set Fluke 111 multimeter (P/N 529 035 868) to
Vdc.

Measure battery voltage between solenoid bat-
tery terminal and battery ground.
