7.2.7 High Temperature Sensor Verification (System Option)
This test can be used on both the exhaust high temp sensor assembly or the Rate of Rise temp
sensor installed when the fire suppression system is ordered.
NOTE:
Do not point the heat gun at anything other than the high temp sensor.
1. Using Heat Gun apply heat directly to the sensor, but not more than 1 minute.
2.
An alarm message “Fire Detected” will display within 10-20 seconds.
Note, - Alarms when temp rises above 45-52°C
3. Remove the heat gun and wait until the temp sensor cools down.
4. Verify that the alarm message self-clears from display.
