NOTE:
Maintenance personnel shall make use of a step stool or small ladder to safely
access the ChemGuard
®
CG050 GEN III controller. Operating personnel shall make
use of a step stool to access the touch screen monitor as required.
7.1 Introduction
The ChemGuard® CG050 is designed to have minimal maintenance activity associated with
its electronics. Proper Lockout-Tagout procedures should be followed to ensure that power is
disconnected from the electronic enclosure before any work is performed on this equipment.
7.2 Calibration and Testing
Calibration and testing, and any resulting maintenance, should be performed at regular
intervals. Refer to recommended inspection table below.
Only qualified personnel trained on the Operation and Maintenance of the ChemGuard®
CG050 GEN III should attempt to perform maintenance and calibration of the System.
