ECHANICS
Each plate a of the weight stack is fitted with a pin b that is pushed out by a small spring c :
•
when the pin is in its external position, the plate hooks onto the cross d (Figure 3.3.1);
•
when the pin is in its internal position, the plates are released from the cross d (Figure 3.3.2).

By adjusting the position of the selector switches appropriately, it is possible to select the desired
plates, and thus the weight with which to perform the exercise. The additional weight is selected by
using a mechanism such as the one schematically illustrated in the figure below:
