OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4 BEFORE USE
WARNING! Before starting the PONYBENCH-B
lift, check the effi ciency ofthe system and get
to know the control devices.
4.1 CHECKING OPERATION OF THE
EMERGENCY DEVICES
Before beginning work, always check the correct operation
of the safety devices provided by the manufacturer.
4.1.1 EMERGENCY BUTTON (ONLY PONYBENCH
BEPLUS)
Check the correct operation of the mushroom-shaped
emergency button as follows:
• Power the control unit by means of the switch placed
on the powerdistribution board.
• Make sure that the key has been inserted in the
mushroom-shapedemergency button.
• Rotate the mushroom-shaped emergency button
clockwise until it is released (1-fi g.6).
• Press the reset button (2-fi g.6) on the right of the
mushroom-shaped emergency button (1-fi g.6). The
yellow pilot light (3-fi g.6) will come on to indicate that
the equipment is powered.
• Press the <ascent> button (5-fi g.6) with one hand)
and raise the movable platform.

• Keeping the <ascent> button pressed, use your free
hand to press the red mushroom-shaped emergency
button (1-fi g.6): the lift should immediately stop.
4.1.2 RESET BUTTON (ONLY PONYBENCH
BEPLUS)
Check correct operation of the reset button as follows:
• Make sure that the key has been inserted in the
mushroom-shapedemergency button.
• Rotate the mushroom-shaped emergency button
clockwise until it isreleased (1-fi g.6).
• Press the <ascent> button (5-fi g.6): the lift should
remain at a standstill.
• Press the reset button (2-fi g.6) on the right of the
mushroom-shapedemergency button (1-fi g.6).The
yellow pilot light (3-fi g.6) will come on to indicatethat
the equipment is powered.
• Press the <ascent> button again (5-fi g.6): the lift
should move upwards.
