2.2 SAFETY SIGNS
The safety signs described in this manual are affi xed to the
lift in the appropriate positions and indicate the operations
to perform and unsafe dangerous situations.
The labels must be kept clean and must be immediately
replaced when they come off or are damaged or become
illegible. Carefully read and memorise the meaning of the
safety signs.

The instruction manual must be carefully read before
beginning work.
2) Before carrying out any maintenance operation,
the lift must be stopped and disconnected, and the
instruction manual must be consulted.
3) Danger of crushing of the lower limbs: maintain a safe
distance during the raising and lowering of the lift.
4) Danger of falling: never climb onto the lift or use it for
the lifting of people.
5) Lifting arm operation (PONYBENCH BEPLUS only):
indicates the operation to be performed for the
opening/closing of the rubber vehicle support buffer
lifting arms;
6) Stop: the removal of the support buffer lifting arms
beyond the reference point indicated by the respective
label.
7) Lifting arm operation and lift ascent/descent control
(PONYBENCH BPPLUS only): indicates the operation
to be performed for the opening/closing of the rubber
vehicle support buffer lifting arms and the raising/
lowering of the lift.
2.3 CLOTHING
Use clothing suitable for the machine and working
environment:
•
Do not wear loose-fi tting clothes, scarves or ties, etc.
that can get caught in the moving parts of the lift.
•
Do not wear moccasins, clogs, slippers or any other
types of footwear that might compromise balance and
stability.
•
If required by the regulations in force in the country
where the lift is beingused, the operator must wear
the prescribed safety clothing, for example helmet,
goggles, gloves, appropriate footwear, etc.
2.4 ECOLOGY AND POLLUTION
The minimum prescriptions to be observed for the
reduction of environmental impact risks created by the use
of the lift are provided below:
•
The PONYBENCH-B lift must not be used for washing
or degreasing vehicles because the products used
might damage the lift and/or pollute the environment.
•
If the country in which the machine is being used
prescribes specifi c noise emission limits, suitable
protective aids should be provided for compliance
with the standards (ear plugs, headphones, etc.).
•
Observe the laws in force in the country in which
the lift is being used concerning use and disposal
of the products used for cleaning and maintenance
of the PONYBENCH-B lift in accordance with the
manufacturer’s recommendations.
•
When replacing worn-out parts or dismantling the lift,
observe the anti pollution laws of the country in which
the lift is being used.
