"Var. Attenuated"
Enables a precise digital attenuation of the signal.
The level of the signal is attenuated by the value set with the parame-
ter
.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:MODE
Digital Attenuation
In "Mode = Var. Attenuated", attenuates the level of the baseband and the RF signal.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:POWer:DATTenuation
I/Q Level Vp EMF
In "Mode > Variable", sets the output voltage for the I and Q signal components.
The value range is adjusted so that the maximum overall output voltage does not
exceed 4V, see
"Maximum overall output voltage"
Remote command:
Couple I/Q Bias
In "Variable Mode", couples the bias setting of the I signal and the Q signal component.
With activated coupling, the settings of the I signal component automatically apply to
the Q signal component.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:COUPling[:STATe]
Bias (EMF)
If a bias is enabled, a DC voltage is superimposed upon the I or Q signal.
Effect of a positive bias
Effect of a negative bias
In "Single Ended" mode, this parameter defines the bias between the output signal and
ground. It can be used to define the operating point of a DUT.
The value range is adjusted so that the maximum overall output voltage does not
exceed 4V, see
"Maximum overall output voltage"
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:I
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:Q
