Operating a Forum Gateway 560 via Router

Forum Gateway 560

Configurator: Telephony: Ports: Slots

Configure the 12 existing slots in correspondence with the interface cards
installed in the Forum Gateways 560.

After you have configured the interface cards, configure the ports on the
cards in the

Telephony

terminals and lines connected to these ports. For further information please
consult the online help.

Operating a Forum Gateway 560 via
Router

If the connection between Forum Gateway 560 and Forum 5004/5008/
5012 communications system is via a router, automatic configuration via
DHCP is not possible. This is why you have to manually switch the
Forum Gateway 560 to the gateway operation mode for the first-time
commissioning. This switch is done on the web interface of the booter. After
starting the Forum Gateway 560, the web interface of the booter can be
addressed under the fixed IP addresses 192.168.99.254 (PCM master) or
192.168.99.252 (PCM slave).

Ensure that each central control module is equipped with a CompactFlash
card with a minimum of 256 Mb.

2.

If you wish to configure multiple Forum Gateways 560, avoid an IP
address conflict as all Forum Gateways 560 can be addressed under the
same IP address shortly after starting. The following approaches are
conceivable:
