Welcome Tracks for a Comfort Hunt Group
Hunt Group Calls
273
Call queue of a comfort hunt group and local queues
If a (local) call queue is configured for the internal call number of a group
member's terminal, the group member is assigned the calls parked in their
local queue first. Calls from the hunt group's call queue are not assigned to
the group member until the local queue is empty. For more information about
configuring local call queues, please refer to the chapter entitled
Welcome Tracks for a Comfort Hunt
Group
Welcome tracks can only be configured in connection with a (licensed) comfort
hunt group. These welcome tracks are saved as audio files. The files are either
recorded in the
Configurator
, menu
Telephony
:
Groups
:
Hunt groups
on the
Audio
page or loaded into the system from an external data carrier.
Two welcome tracks can be set per group.
●
Welcome if member is free
: This welcome track is played when a caller
can be immediately assigned to an available group member.
●
Welcome if member is busy
: This welcome track is played when all group
members are busy and the caller is directed into the call queue.
Note:
You can also use the welcome track that you have created for
comfort hunt groups for other internal applications of the
communications system, e. g. for the “Forum Auto Attendant”
application.
Forwarding Hunt Group Calls
A hunt group call number can be automatically redirected to an internal or
external call number. Call forwarding can be used for internal and external
hunt group calls. Calls are forwarded when the communications system
detects that the group is busy. This call forwarding function can be
programmed using the
Forward at busy
setting.
●
A
comfort hunt group
is considered busy when all logged-in members are
busy and the call queue is full.
