setting if you would like to use one of the
Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system actuators.
Please
note:
If you use one of the communications system actuators, this is
always the actuator of the first gateway (call server).
You can find further information about the individual configuration
settings that are required in the Forum 5004/5008/5012 communica-
tions system for a SIP EIS in the online help.
2. Device configuration:
Once you have completed the necessary configu-
ration in the Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system, you need
to configure the SIP EIS itself accordingly. You can find details about
configuration in the SIP EIS documentation. Make a note of the SIP param-
eters that are necessary for configuration of the SIP EIS by opening the
setup help for the Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system. To
do this, on the

table row for the relevant SIP EIS.
Note:
A SIP EIS has no call number. Therefore, the SIP ID of the SIP
EIS cannot be its call number. The SIP ID is formed using the
MAC address of the SIP EIS and an internal (unique) ID. Example:
00-05-51-75-5F-00-0032 (MAC address = 000551755F00,
internal ID = 0032).
Please note:
The internal ID changes when
the configuration of the SIP EIS is altered. The SIP password is
also generated automatically.
If the SIP EIS has been configured correctly, the SIP EIS will register in the
Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system. You can check the
registration in the

3. Doorbell configuration:
In the SIP EIS, set up the call numbers for the
doorbells. The doorbells
must
dial the following call numbers:
Bell 1: Call number = 11
Bell 2: Call number = 12
Bell 3: Call number = 13
Bell 4: Call number = 14
To complete the doorbell configuration, in the Forum 5004/5008/5012
communications system, set up the call distribution for each doorbell of
the SIP EIS in the
