Forum Gateway 560 Connection via PCM-V Connection

4.

Re-insert the central control modules in the Forum Gateways 560 
(please refer to the chapter 

Installing the Central Control Module

 starting 

on page 96).

You require a screened CAT-5 Ethernet line with RJ45 plug for the PCM-V 
connection between two Forum Gateways 560. All 8 connection pins 
must be allocated and connected 1:1 for this line. The line may not be 
longer than 50 cm.

Please note:

Use only the PCM-V line provided by Proximus for the gateway 
connection which fulfils the requirements described! 

5.

Mount both Forum Gateways 560 one above the other. 

Note:

Both Forum Gateways 560 have to be mounted one above the 
other as the permissible line length is so short. It is not possible 
to position them next to each other.

6.

Connect the PCM-V line to the PCM ports on the two central control 
modules Forum 550 Card main processor of the Forum Gateways 560.

Connect the two Forum Gateways 560 to the LAN via their Ethernet 
interfaces.

8.

Activate the power supply for the two Forum Gateways 560 in any order 
you wish. 

A Forum Gateway 560 is operational when the LED 2 on its central control
