DECT Base Station Connection Variants
A Forum Base DECT v2 base station can be connected to either one or two
U
pn
interfaces:

If the DECT base station is connected to one U
pn
interface, four simulta-
neous calls or connections can be made through the handsets.
●
If the DECT base station is connected to two U
pn
interfaces, eight simulta-
neous calls or connections can be made through the handsets.
Please note that it is not possible to establish more simultaneous external
connections than there are external B channels.
