There is an internal Ethernet switch with several ports on the main board of a
hardware unit. This switch is connected to the LAN1 and LAN2 ports.
Both LAN ports are operated as an Ethernet bridge with a gateway.
●
LAN1 and LAN2: These ports can be used for daisy-chaining the LAN
connection to additional hardware units. The factory setting configuration
of this port has “192.168.99.253/24” as its IP address.
For a call server, both LAN ports are also operated as Ethernet bridge in the
default configuration:
●
LAN1 and LAN2: These ports can be used for daisy-chaining the LAN
connection to additional hardware units or to the company network. The
factory setting configuration of this port has “192.168.99.254/24” as its
IP address.
The two LAN ports may have a different function for the call server:
●
LAN1: You can use this port for the connection to your company network.
The factory setting configuration of this port has “192.168.99.254/24” as
its IP address.
●
LAN2: Use this port when you have a separate internet port for VoIP
telephony (“VoIP Box”). In the default configuration, this port is connected
to LAN1 via an internal bridge (“Switch”).
Power Failure
In the event of a power failure, all configuration data, voice box messages as
well as account data are preserved. The internal clock will continue to run for
about 1 hour. If the power failure lasts for more than 1 hour, the time and
date are reset to the factory settings when the power is switched on again.
