Installation (Rack Version)

Rack mounting place locking mechanism

The rack mounting plate has 2 “J”-shaped tabs (1) in the front which have to
snap into place into the “T”-shaped notches (2) on the bottom of the hardware
units or of the front panel. Note that the earthing terminals (3) must be
connected to protective earthing either directly on the hardware unit, on the
rack mounting plate or indirectly via the rack.

The hardware units can be mounted via the following steps:

1.

Remove the packaging material from the hardware units. Slide a
hardware unit (1) onto the mounting place so that the “J”-shaped tab slips
into the “T”-shaped notch of the hardware unit. Slide the hardware unit a
few millimetres backwards to get the tab to snap into place:
