Information on Potential Faults in
Comfort Hunt Groups
●
Hunt group calls are not assigned to terminals reported as faulty.
●
If a group member is using a softphone as their only terminal and termi-
nates this device, the member is automatically logged out of the comfort
hunt group.
●
If a group member is using a DECT terminal and the connection is inter-
rupted by roaming during a hunt group call, the connection is terminated.
The call is lost.
●
Hunt group calls penetrate the call protection. The “call protection” and
“comfort hunt group login” functions should be linked to ensure the
member cannot be reached by normal calls while logged into a comfort
hunt group. For more information on how to link functions, refer to the
operating instructions for the system phones
Particular Features of Hunt Group
Calls
Users must be familiar with the following features for hunt group calls in
order to use the feature correctly.
Features of standard and comfort hunt groups
●
A group member can forward an accepted hunt group call to another
subscriber like any other call. As soon as the hunt group call is forwarded,
the member becomes available again for further hunt group calls.
●
A hunt group call that is signalled on the terminal of a group member can
be answered by another group member by means of the pick-up function
using any busy keys or BLF keys that have been set.
Additional features of comfort hunt groups
●
A hunt group call is also signalled on the terminal when call protection is
set.
●
A hunt group call is not signalled with a call waiting tone.
