Screen Descriptions
Key/Qualifier Selection Screen
When accessing any screen developed in SAT, the system will automatically display the Key/Qualifier
Selection screen if invalid qualifier details have been entered.
Screen
Description
AD
The Additional Detail (AD) screen is used to: record/amend supplementary patient
details, such as previous or additional forenames/surnames; record/amend any
additional notes to be included on FP99 electronic notifications to NHSCR and FP99Rs,
and set/amend immigrant status; and request FP69 labels and/or electronic prior
notifications transactions.
B1
The B1 screen is used to: set parameters to perform a bulk transfer, abeyance or
dispersal; request printed bulk transfer letters or address labels; or transfer a GP’s Child
Health Surveillance and/or Contraceptive claims.
B2
The B2 screen has two functions. Page 1 displays transfer details set on the B1 screen
from this GP to the receiving GP(s). Page 2 is read only, and displays: all outstanding
bulk transfers to this GP from donating GP(s); and details of patients who are held in
abeyance and being treated by the GP temporarily.
CH
This is a “read only” screen which can be used to look at historic patient details for “live”
patients, that is, the state of a patient’s record some time in the past prior to any changes
made to it.
CQ
When the computer is rebooted with a date which has crossed over a quarter (i.e. the
first re-boot following 1 January, 1 April, 1 July or 1 October) a start-up routine opens the
new quarter. Between this time and closing the old quarter, all old quarter work must be
completed.
DE
The Deducted Exemptions (DE) screen is used to display prescription exemption
certificate details for a deducted patient.
DH
The Deducted History (DH) screen which can be used to look at historic patient details
for “deducted” patients.
DL
The DL screen is used to deduct patients from the ‘live’ database.
DN
The Deducted Notes (DN) screen is used view and amend patient notes for a deducted
patient. Existing NHSCR and HA/GP Links messages, which are currently displayed on
the Deducted Patient Details Screen, may be viewed and deleted (HA/GP Links
messages must be complete).
DP
The Deducted Patient (DP) screen is used to view and amend deducted patient details.
Depending on procedures at your site, patients may also be deleted from the system.
DR
The Analysis of DDRs/DPRs (DR) screen provides a means of displaying or
downloading information about patients who have been deducted at doctor’s request
(DDR) via the DL screen (key DL, with a qualifier of DDR), or those deducted at patient’s
request (DPR) via the DL screen.
DS
The Status of DDRs (DS) screen displays the pending deductions at doctor’s request
(DDRs) which have been set up using the DL-DDR screen.
DX
The Database Integrity Checker Monitor (DX) screen is used to: display the total number
of errors encountered by the registration integrity checker AJ-RIC; display the number of
errors resolved by support; and provide a facility to monitor when checks are performed
and warn the appropriate user that a check is required. The period between checks may
be set by the Key User or Additional User.
ER
This screen may be used to associate patients’ MREs with a new retained MR box.
These MREs may already be associated with an existing retained MR box or this may be
the first time that these MREs are being recorded within the system.
FA
The FA screen displays the FP69 audit history for a selected NHS number. This provides
information on changes to the FP69 status of a particular patient.
FH
The Health Authority Details (FH) screen will provide you with a directory of HA
addresses, useful contact names and numbers. Details held by this application will be
automatically inserted in Urgent Medical Record Request letters.
