Date Added
This is the date the acceptance document from the current GP was received by the
Authority, or the date a Bulk Transfer was actioned on the B2 screen.
System Default Settings
If this field is left blank, the computer will enter today’s date.
The system will not give back credits for patients added with a date in a previously
closed quarter.
NOTE
Various codes indicating that there is optional data regarding the patient
appear below this field. See Codes for Optional Data below for details.
Birth Place
The patient’s place of birth. This information is very useful to NHSCR when trying to
trace a patient. This field is mandatory if the patient is registered with a GP on the GP
Links System.
NOTE
If a patient has a DDR pending, the abbreviation “DDR” will appear as
flashing text after the Birth Place field.
M/R Status
This is a read only field.
This status field will be automatically updated with a code of ‘APR’ when a patient is
registered with the acceptance codes 1,2,4 or 5.
This status field will usually be automatically updated with a code of ‘AFH’ when a
patient is registered with the acceptance code 3. However, if there is an entry for the
patient on the RE screen where the practice matches the practice of registration and, if
the patient has been previously deducted, the deducted M/R status is not ‘AFH’,
‘ACR’, ‘AGP’ or ‘RFH’, the system will automatically assign an M/R status of
‘NOT’.
Amendments to the M/R status must be made on the MR screen. For further
information on these screens and M/R status codes, refer to Section 8.
