1.1 Methods
Nitrate LR
with Tube Test
0.5 – 14 mg/l N
1. Place the supplied blank (red label) in the sample
chamber making sure that the marks are aligned.
2. Press ZERO key.
3. Remove the vial from the sample chamber.
4. Add 0.5 ml of water sample into one reaction tube.
5. Close the vial tightly with the cap and invert several
times to mix the contents.
(Caution: tube becomes warm!)
6. Add 0.2 ml Nitrate-111 .
7. Close the vial tightly with the cap and invert several
times to mix the contents.
8. Place the vial in the sample chamber making sure that
the marks are aligned.
9. Press TEST key.
Wait for a reaction period of 15 minutes .
After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.
The result is shown in the display in mg/l Nitrate.
