1.1 Methods
Lead
with MERCK Spectroquant ® Test,
No. 1.09717.0001
0.1 – 5 mg/l Pb
1. Fill a clean 10 mm cell with water sample .
2. Place the cell in the sample chamber making sure that
the positioning is correct.
3. Press
ZERO
key.
4. Remove the cell from the sample chamber. Empty the
cell and dry completely.
Caution! Reagent Pb-1 contains Potassium Cyanide!
Adhere to the specified dosage sequence! (Note 4)
5. Pipette 0.5 ml Reagent Pb-1 into a beaker.
6. Add
0.5 ml Reagent Pb-2
and mix.
7. Add 8 ml of water sample and mix.
8. Fill the 10 mm cell with the colored test solution.
9. Place the cell in the sample chamber making sure that
the positioning is correct.
10. Press TEST key.
The result is shown in the display in mg/l Lead.
