1.1 Methods 

Notes:

1. This method determines the total dissolved Iron as Fe

2+

 and Fe

3+

.

2. For the determination of Fe

2+

 ions the IRON (II) LR tablet is used, as described above,  

  instead of the IRON LR tablet.
3. For the determination of total dissolved and undissolved iron digestion is required.  
  An example is described on page 143.
