Pressure Transducer Zeroing Procedure
1. Disconnect the transducer from the patient.

2. Adjust the 3-way stopcock to close the channel leading to the patient. The
transducer is open to the atmosphere through the stopcock.
3. Select CH1 ZERO or CH2 ZERO in IBP PRESSURE ZERO menu to start
zeroing.
NOTE
z
To ensure correct measurement, zero the transducer before it is used to
zero the monitor.
z
Position the transducer at the same level with the patient’s heart,
approximately mid-axillary line.
z
Perform the pressure zeroing before monitoring, and at intervals during
monitoring (at least once per day). The zeroing should also be
conducted once the transducer cable is disconnected and then
connected.
