The last three paper sizes LT on LD , A4 on A3 , and B5 on B4 are
for booklets only. Selecting a booklet paper size changes the
Layout page to book format and disables all secondary paper
options with the exception of
Front Cover
(in blank and duplex).

The Postcard paper size is supported through the bypass feeder.
„
There is no A6 paper cassette.
„
Selecting
Duplex
on the Setup page disables A6 paper through the
bypass feeder.
„
Short-edge feed works for Letter , A4 , B5 , and 16K . On the copier
these paper sizes are identified as Letter-R , A4-R , B5-R , and 16K-
R , respectively.
Because the feed orientation of the paper affects the stapling and hole
punch positions, you select the paper size and the controller
automatically selects the source cassette with the correct feed
orientation. Notice that the source changes to
Auto Select
.
Two occasions require you to define the paper source:

The job requires the bypass feeder
„
A cassette contains one of the paper sizes for a booklet, and you
have selected a booklet paper type.
The bypass feeder may be required if the size of the paper in the
cassette you select is not the same as the document size.
