4 If upgrading your software, click

on each screen to continue. To cancel the installation, click

6 When the installation is complete, restart the computer.
Installation Options
The installation program prompts you to:

Accept the license agreement.
„
Choose a destination location or accept the default folder.
Note: If you select a different file folder the directory name must
conform to the MS-DOS
® operating system naming conventions. The
file name can have a maximum of eight characters, and it must have
a three-character extension.

Select the type of setup:
Typical
,
Complete
, or
Custom
.
„
Select the components:
„
Imagistics ipc1 Document Monitor
„
Imagistics GL-PCL6 Printer Driver for each controller
„
Imagistics GL-PSL3 Printer Driver for each controller
„
Imagistics ipc1 TWAIN Driver
„
AGFA Font Manager and Font collection
„
Select the port
In this step you connect the Imagistics controller to your local printer
port. The port names to connect to are:
„
\\<device name>\DSSC
for printers that require either Printer
Control Language (PCL) 6 or PostScript
„
\\<device name>\GL_PCL6
for printers that require Printer
Control Language (PCL) 6
„
\\<device name>\GL_PS
for PostScript printers
If the controller has been setup as a Novell printer, you must specify
the Netware queue, that is:
\\server\queue name
