When you click
Change Rate
, ipc1 Document Monitor displays the
Document Notification dialog box.

Use the slider to set the rate. The limits are:
Document Monitoring:
from
0 seconds
(none) to
1 minute
. The
default is
30 seconds
.
Current Jobs:
from
0 seconds
to
1 minute
. The default is
10 seconds
.
Printer Summary:
from
0 seconds
to
1 minute
. The default is
1
minute
.
Restore Defaults:
sets a predefined frequency for the selected item.
To set the refresh rate:

Click the
Refresh Rates
tab. The Refresh Rates dialog box opens.

From the Refresh Rates dialog box, select the item for which you want
to change the rate.

To customize the rate, click
Change Rate
. The Rates dialog box for the
item selected opens.

In the Rates dialog box, click and drag the slider along the scale to set
the rate from zero (
0
) seconds (left end) to the maximum rate (right
end). The rate appears in the box below as you slide the slider.
If you set the rate to zero, ipc1 Document Monitor does not
update the screen.
The maximum rate is different for each item: event notifications,
printer status, and print queue.
