Printer Utility Overview
Printer Utility has two web sites available. One site is designed for end
users and the other is for administrators.
„
The end-user site displays controller and scan job status as well as
enabling you to create and maintain private groups and templates.
„
The administrator site enables network administrators to configure
controller settings, conduct maintenance, and update the address
book, public group, and public templates.
With Printer Utility, you can:
„
View general copier information including controller status and alerts
„
View cassette/accessory configuration
„
View and modify the status of your jobs
„
View the counter logs
„
Locate other Imagistics devices on the network
„
Install client software
Note: Because Printer Utility uses cookies to store persistent
information on your system, you must have cookies enabled in your
browser for Printer Utility to work correctly.
System Requirements
Before installing the software, make sure your network and client
workstations meet the following minimum requirements:
Opening Printer Utility
To navigate to Printer Utility, enter the following URL on the search line of
your Internet browser.
http://<IP Address>
or
http://<Device Name>
where <IP Address> is the IP address of the controller and <Device Name>
is the device name of the controller.
For example:
http://159.119.44.234
or
http://myipc1-im8130
The Printer Utility web page opens.
