4 Select the name of the connected device, to monitor the device using
ipc1 Document Monitor or Printer Utility.
Note: To have the ipc1 Document Monitor icon appear in the taskbar
each time you start Windows, set the startup options from the
Configuration window. Access the configuration window by clicking
Configure
on the Document Monitor menu.
ipc1 Document Monitor opens to the Device Status window or to the
window displayed last.
Access Using the Printers Menu
The Printer Shell Extender supports the Windows 9x, Windows Me,
Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP operating systems shell
extensions. When the installation program installs ipc1 Document
Monitor, it adds a device status item to the Printers menu.
To access device status through the Printers menu:
