Using Adobe Document Structuring Convention (ADSC)
ADSC prints each page as a separate job. This prevents intervening jobs
from causing errors in the final printout.

Choosing a PostScript Output Protocol
1 In the print properties window, click the
Quality
tab.
2 Click
PostScript Settings
.
3 Select the output protocol you want.

Select
ASCII Data
to send all data using the Adobe Communication
Protocol .
This allows you to print the data to any printer.

Select
Tagged BCP
to send all data, except special characters, in
binary (8-bit) format.
This option passes data to the printer faster than sending it in
ASCII data mode.

OK
to return to the properties tab.
5 Click
OK
to return to the print window.
Compressing Bitmaps
Bitmapped images are often very large files, especially in uncompressed
form. Compressing bitmapped images can greatly reduce the overhead
and network bandwidth required to send them over the network.
