10 Enter the path to the printer setup information file (*.inf) or click
Browse
to find the file on the network.
11 After you find the file, click

to return to the Add Printer wizard.

13 For the Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP operating systems, select the
port type from the list of available ports and click
Next

Note: To assign the IPP or LPD port to the printer, see Enabling IPP
Printing on page 35 and Enabling LPR/LPD Printing on page 29.
14 If previous versions of the driver software are detected, the wizard
prompts you to keep the existing driver or replace it.
If you are reinstalling a deleted or corrupt driver, choose
Keep Existing
.
If you are updating to a newer version, choose
Replace
.
15 Click
Next

Add Printer Wizard: Printer Name
16 Enter a printer name or accept the default.
17 Click
Next
