CAUTION:
Electrical current from power, telephone, and
communication cables can be hazardous. To avoid personal
injury or equipment damage, disconnect the attached power
cords, telecommunications systems, networks, and modems
before you open the server covers, unless instructed
otherwise in the installation and configuration procedures.
For your safety, always do the following before removing the cover:
1. Turn off the server and any attached devices, such as printers,
monitors, and external drives.
Note: If you are in the United Kingdom and have a modem or
fax machine attached to your server, you must disconnect
the telephone line from the server before unplugging any
power cords (also known as power cables). When
reassembling your server, you must reconnect the
telephone line after you plug in the power cords.
2. Unplug all the power cords from electrical outlets.
3. Disconnect all communication cables from external receptacles.
4. Disconnect all cables and power cords from the back of the
server.
Note: Reconnect the cables or power cords only after you
reassemble the server and put the cover back on.
