A.1.2 Label Making Specifications
Printed Labels
For higher efficiency and better appearance, printed labels are recommended. When using a
printer to make labels, note the following:
l
Use a laser printer.
l
Before printing a label, try printing on a piece of ordinary blank paper to check for
mistakes.
l
When printing labels, manually feed label papers one by one to avoid paper jam.
Different from the ordinary paper, the label paper is composed of two layers.
Hand-Written Labels
When writing labels, note the following to ensure that the hand-written labels are clear and
legible:
l
Use the black greasy pens (excluding ball-point pens) delivered with the device to write
labels.
l
Write the labels in the Arial font, and keep the letter size the same as that of a printed
label.
l
Write the labels in the same format as that of a printed label.
A.1.3 Attaching Labels
Attaching Labels to the PGND and Power Cables
Attach a PGND cable label or power cable label to the ID plate on the cable tie. Tighten the
cable tie with the label to the cable and ensure that the label is 20 mm (0.79 in.) away from
the connector, as shown in
.
l
The labels must be attached to the same side of the ID plates.
l
The distance between the label and the connector can be adjusted as required. Ensure that the
distance is the same for all cables.
l
Ensure that the ID plate with the label is on the right side of the cable in vertical cabling, or on top of
the cable in horizontal cabling. Ensure that the label is facing outwards.
