Connect to the MM910 over the serial port, and set a static IP address for the MM910:
smmset -t front -d staticip -v static_IP_address subnet_mask
The new MM910 is standby and automatically synchronizes data from the active MM910. However, the
static IP address cannot be automatically synchronized. Therefore, you must assign the static IP address
of the removed MM910 to the new MM910.
To replace both MM910s:

If both MM910s are operating properly, perform

Check the software versions of the active and standby MM910s by running the following
command:
smmget -l smm -d version
If the active and standby MM910s are of different software versions, upgrade them to the
same version.
