Procedure
Step 1
Remove a GE network cable or serial cable.

Before removing cables, record the connection sequence and positions of all the cables on
the switch module to be replaced.

The cables to a switch module vary depending on the port type. Determine whether to
remove or connect a cable as required.

The BMC serial port, SYS serial port, and GE electrical port are standard RJ-45 ports, and cables can be
removed from them in the same way.
Step 2
Remove the optical cable and optical module from a 10GE or 8 Gbit/s FC optical port.
