Attaching a Label to the Power Cable of Internal Components

Attach a label to a power cable and ensure that the label is 20 mm (0.79 in.) away from the
connector, as shown in

.

l

The distance between the label and the connector can be adjusted as required. Ensure that the
distance is the same for all cables.

l

Ensure that the ID plate with the label is on the right side of the cable in vertical cabling, or on top of
the cable in horizontal cabling. Ensure that the label is facing outwards.

Attach a label to a signal cable and ensure that the label is 20 mm (0.79 in.) away from the
connector. Then fold the label. See
