Output Information of the Serial
Port Operation
Ensure that the optical fibers or cables are
inserted on the same ports on the panel
after the board replacement. During
system startup, do not power off or
remove the board. To continue the
startup, press Y:
NOTE
After you press Y , software will be upgraded
and all switch modules will restart
automatically.
Properly connect electrical and optical
cables to the switch modules and ensure
that the connection relationships before
and after the replacement are the same.
Then press
Y to proceed with the startup.
Can not get config file from smm. Begin
reboot ... 1. Check whether at least one MM910 is
installed.
n
If yes, go to Step 3.2.b .
n
If no, install at least one MM910.
2. Import the backup configuration file
into the switch module. For details,
see "Restoring the Configuration File"
or "Restoring the MXxxx
Configuration File by Using Web
Tools" in the
CXxxx Switch Module
User Guide . Then check whether the
import is successful.
n
If yes, restart the switch module
for the configuration to take effect.
n
If no, go to Step 3.2.c .
3. Delete the configuration file of the
switch module on the MM910 and
restart the switch module. Then the
default configuration file of the switch
module is synchronized to the
MM910.
3. Use a user name and password to log in to the switch module.
After the switch module is started successfully, the SOL serial port outputs the following
information. Use the default password (
Huawei12#$ ) or the updated user name and password
to log in to the switch module.
User interface con0 is available
Please Press ENTER.
Step 4 Check the switch modules.
1. If information shown in Figure 6-22 is displayed, upgrade the switch module software to
the latest version. For details, see the E9000 Server V100R001 Upgrade Guide .
